Pig-slaughtering used to be a regular annual feast at every Czech country farm. We have revived this tradition for you here in Pivovarský dvůr Plzeň, with the help of a professional Master Butcher. The atmosphere of a traditional farmyard is recreated with all the necessary butcher’s equipment. The air is filled with the smoke coming fro the stove, steam and pitchy scent. The butcher with his helper dressed in traditional chequered jackets are ready to do their job and turn the pig to a range of traditional Czech pig-feast specialities.
All this may be accompanied by a professional commentary, Czech country music, or a Czech pipers’ band.
